A handful of years ago, four experienced financial advisers decided they wanted to raise the standard of providing sound insurance and investment advice in New Zealand. So they joined forces to create Heartland Insurance. They raised the bar in providing quality advice to their clients and employing exceptional Authorised Financial Advisers in Taranaki and the Manawatu. Since then Heartland changed to HTL Insurance, and with the recent addition of two investment advisers, HTL Insurance has now become HTL Group.

Despite these changes, HTL is still 100% New Zealand owned and operated and proud of it, and has the same amazing team of customer service staff.

With offices in three locations in Taranaki and clients all over New Zealand, we’re continuing to grow so we can help more New Zealanders to get the right insurance to protect the things that really matter to them; and provide quality investment advice to help them look after their hard earned money.

John Bourke is our Stratford Authorised Financial Adviser. He is a proud Stratford man and has earned a solid reputation over the years.

John has specific expertise and experience in helping local families with their life, trauma and income protection insurance needs, as well as protecting their key assets such as houses, contents, vehicles, boats and much more.

As a Director and joint owner of HTL Group, John best understands the specific insurance needs of businesses and farmers. He is considered a trusted adviser to a diverse range of clients throughout Taranaki.
