The vision and mission of the Taranaki Chamber of Commerce is to create a strong and vibrant Taranaki business community through advocacy, business connections and celebrating business success.

With a 700+ strong membership base, the Taranaki Chamber represents businesses throughout the region and beyond. Working on behalf of all industry sectors, the Chamber facilitates BARA, Young Enterprise Scheme, Network of Trades, Top Shop and Business Excellence Awards.

The purpose of BARA is to encourage people into the CBD to support local businesses.

The Lion Foundation Young Enterprise Scheme is delivered to Years 11 and 13 Secondary School Students. Through YES, students get the chance to set up and run their own business for a year.

The Network of Trades is a specific forum group for trades and trades-based businesses.

Top Shop awards celebrate customer service excellence, and the Business Excellence Awards recognise business excellence across all sectors.
