The Bead Hold

Nia Chesswas established The Bead Hold in 2005.

The Bead Hold is a family run business, located on the main street of Stratford and online (www.thebeadhold.co.nz).

Instore and online you will find an excellent range of Beads, Findings, Wires and Threads.  Nia handpicks all her products from around the world, to ensure that her customers get quality products at an affordable price.

You will also find Phyllis Johnston’s ‘The May Series‘ books that were originally published in the 1980s, the iconic New Zealand pioneering books are a rare glimpse into pioneer life, seen through the eyes of May Tarrant and her brothers.

Nia also designs kitsets, creates tutorials and packs the parcels, sending beads and findings throughout New Zealand and the world.

The Bead Hold store is open on Wednesday’s from 10am until 1pm, or by appointment.
